Alers Vs. Warriors

The Alers vs. Warriors game ended in a forfeit due to the Warriors using an illegal player, not meeting the standards set in the replacement player guidelines as well as not gaining permission from the league for a call-up (which would have been denied).

Substitute Player Policy

Official call-up player rules:

  • Replacement players are not allowed unless authorization is granted from the League Commissioners. The conditions under which a replacement player can be arranged are as follows:
    • More than 3 “A” players will be missing, or
    • Less than 8 total skaters will be at the game
    • Failure to follow those procedures will result in a forfeit.

The League has a list for replacement goalies.

Make sure all and every substitute player is cleared to play by either Bill Melissen or Jon Buehler prior to the start of the game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit regardless of criteria met. If you have to play with 6 or 7 guys so be it. You wouldn’t be the first team to do so.

Schedule Changes

The Ducks – Chiefs game this Saturday has been moved to Saturday, May 17th at 6:15pm.

The ice slot is still open and there will be a skate at 5:05 this Saturday afternoon.

The Wetas – Alers Game from Tuesday night (4/15) has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 11th at 7:00pm.

You Should Respect The 4th Period

Because when you don’t, your equipment may wind up strung up like the Goat’s.
