Scenarios

WSL ShieldThe standings are updated but a lot can happen by the end of Saturday’s games.

  • If Alers defeat 14ers, Alers finish 3rd.
  • If Alers and 14ers tie, Alers finish 4th.
  • If Alers los to 14ers, Alers finish 6th.
    • Alers, Wetas and Flyers all have 1-1 records versus each other.
    • Overall goal differential would decide seeding.

WSL Official Replacement Player Rules

Official call-up player rules:

  • Replacement players are not allowed unless authorization is granted from the League Commissioners. The conditions under which a replacement player can be arranged are as follows:
    • More than 3 “A” players will be missing, or
    • Less than 8 total skaters will be at the game
    • Failure to follow those procedures will result in a forfeit.

The League has a list for replacement goalies.

Make sure all and every substitute player is cleared to play by either Bill Melissen or Jon Buehler prior to the start of the game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit regardless of criteria met. If you have to play with 6 or 7 guys so be it. You wouldn’t be the first team to do so.
