- Replacement players are not allowed unless authorization is granted from the League Commissioners. The conditions under which a replacement player can be arranged are as follows:
- More than 3 “A†players will be missing, or
- Less than 8 total skaters will be at the game
- Failure to follow those procedures will result in a forfeit.
- The League has a list for replacement goalies.
you mean 1 of 3 “A” players missing?
No. Each team has at least 5 or 6 “A” players. We basically do not want replacement players but are willing to allow some in the above circumstances only. the sad truth is that even well meaning people cheat when it comes to replacement players. Like any other team, if your better players don’t show up, you will have a tough time winning. The WSL is no different.
Long-Term injuries to “A” palyers will be dealt with through the League as well. We want to be fair and the only way to ensure fairness is to handle everything through us. You people can’t be trusted!
What is the policy for replacement 4th period forwards? What about substitutional chefs for Saturday games?
